What is Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)

NLP is made up of 3 parts:

1. 'Neuro' is our neurology - how we think and feel.

2. 'Linguistic' is the language part - what we say, how we say it and how we are influenced by what we hear.

3. 'Programming' is how we act to achieve our results.

Addressing these fundamental systems and positively changing patterns of thought, language and behavior can have a powerful and fundamental effect on life. Improving internal belief systems, accessing positive thoughts and increased risk taking.

Often the way we see the world, or our place within it can be limiting, for instance spiralling negative thought processes such as, "My employer is going to realize that I'm really not as good as I'm pretending to be and when that happens I'll be fired or demoted and will have to sell the house..." or "I'm going to sound nervous and stumble over my words which will make me look incompetent and reduce my chances of promotion and I'll never get to where I want to be..." Negative thoughts are often so habitual that people are not even consciously aware of them.

NLP is a fabulously fast and effective direct route to these inaccurate belief systems so that thoughts, feelings and actions can be positively influenced

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis has been used in medicine for over two hundred years to treat a wide range of physical, psychological and emotional disorders.

It is a safe, most effective and non-invasive approach.
Hypnosis is a straightforward drug free method of inducing a state of complete relaxation during which the analytical mind reduces activity, making the unconscious mind more accessible to suggestions.

Hypnosis is a two-way process - a partnership between the client and the therapist. Both work together using an agreed approach to enhance mental, physical and emotional well-being. During hypnosis a client is fully aware as to what is happening and is always in control of what is said.

Like other therapies, a client has a choice to accept or reject a therapy. No responsible hypnotist would attempt to hypnotise against a client's will or encourage an individual to act against their natural inclinations while in hypnosis.
